Jabra Enhance Select Review: Premium Sound With a Care Team Behind It
Last updated: July 2026. Prices checked at time of writing; always confirm on the official site.
Our verdict: the best choice in our comparison if budget is not your main constraint. From $995 a pair (top models up to about $1,995), but you get behind-the-ear devices with excellent sound, Bluetooth streaming, remote adjustments by a hearing care team, and an industry-leading 100-day trial. Still far below the $4,000+ of a traditional clinic.
What it is
Jabra Enhance (formerly Lively) sells hearing aids online with a telecare model: you take an online hearing test, the devices arrive pre-tuned to your results, and audiology-trained specialists fine-tune them remotely through the smartphone app. The Select line has several tiers; higher tiers add newer chips and better noise handling.
What we like
- The care model. Remote adjustments by real specialists close most of the gap with a clinic visit.
- Sound quality and features. Bluetooth streaming for calls and TV, rechargeable, modern noise reduction.
- 100-day trial. The longest return window in our comparison, plus a multi-year warranty depending on package.
What to keep in mind
- It is a serious purchase: $995 to $1,995 a pair depending on model and service package.
- You need a smartphone to get the most out of it; the app is central to adjustments and support.
- Behind-the-ear design is slightly more visible than in-ear models like the MDHearing NEO XS.
Who it is for
People with mild to moderately severe hearing loss who want clinic-level guidance without clinic prices, and who are comfortable using a smartphone app. If $1,000+ is more than you want to spend, the MDHearing NEO XS delivers the best value for a quarter of the price.
